A daily prayer from the New England Conference
Members of the New England Conference Extended Cabinet are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.

Today's Prayer
Read Psalm 8 Awesome, Holy and Creator God, How majestic is Your name in all the earth! Sometimes I get so caught up in my own little space, I fail to take notice your wonders! The darkness has a way of creating distractions that take my attention from you. Help me to recognize you in my daily walk. The sound of a baby laughing, of children playing outside, of the wind blowing gently through the trees, of the flowers blooming, friends chatting over lunch, the sun shining, and even the rain that gently waters the gardens. Help me, O Lord, today, to be more attentive of the world around me. Help me pay close attention to your wonders. This evening, I want to reflect on all that I noticed today and give you moments of grateful praise. By Rich Hughen, Conference Lay Leader
