A daily prayer from the New England Conference

The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.

Dear Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer I pray today: That all of those in pain will be comforted. That the sick will be cared for and healed. That the dying will be ushered gently into the loving next world. That the hungry will be fed and the naked clothed. That we welcome the stranger. That kindness overcomes mean-spiritedness. That those who have much share generously with those who have little. That divisions in our church and the nation find a way to be reconciled. That we find a way to reverse climate change and save our planet. Please help us to focus on loving relationships.
