Romans 6:9-10
For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
We have talked a lot about sin and how Jesus’ death affected our relationship with sin. His resurrection will directly affect our relationship with sin and death. Death loses its power over us. We know we will die, but we will die forgiven, and that makes all the difference. We will live on forever in God’s presence.
Holy Lord, I am so very thankful. Today and every day you know my heart. You have answered my prayers and I am yours. Amen

Romans 6: 9-10
God’s Grace is given to us upon Jesus’s death, taking with Him our sins. Forgiven. This makes me think of all the blessings that God has given me in my life, I am rich with blessings but to be forgiven, if that was the only blessing ever given to me…I can still feel WOW! It is enough.
Dear Father, help me to live my life here on earth in a way that glorifies you. I am thankful for all the blessings You have given me, none more than your forgiveness and I pray that sin never directs my life. Amen

Romans 6:9-10

God doesn’t want me to beat myself up for every mistake I make. (Amen). I cannot continue trusting in God if my life is trapped in guilt. I need to always remember the work on the cross (not just during lent but each and every day) knowing that Jesus was tortured beyond human understanding to forgive our sins. I need to continue doing the things God has called m…
