1 Thessalonians 5:11
Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
I am not good at professing or sharing my faith in plain language. There are a few people I am close enough with for this kind of sharing. But there are other ways of sharing my faith, and building up others. I hope to share my faith by spending time with and building up those who are lonely or sad. If any of them were to ask me why I am there, I need to have a good, solid and truthful response. I am there to share God’s love, plain and simple. God is so good to me, in turn I will show my love, and his, to others.
Holy Lord, thank you for showing me this way to be a tiny bit of light and love for those who need it. Help me to share your love with others in every way I am able. Amen

1 Thessalonians 5:11
Relationships are one of the most important facets of my life. Family, church, friendships, work and most importantly my relationship with God. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
Our transformer study group meets every Tuesday evening via ZOOM. it is the best example of encouragement, I can think of in regards to our scripture lesson today.. I am so blessed to be part of a community where members support and uplift one another, especially during challenging times. It emphasizes the importance of mutual encouragement, spiritual growth, and a focus on the positive, even amidst difficulties. In a world often filled with negativity and discouragement, this verse reminds us to be a source of hope and positivity.…
1 Thessalonians 5:11
In the setting of camp I see the entire spectrum of what Paul is referring to. Children tend to be much more transparent and far less duplicitous than adults. Their behaviors can range from disappointing cruelty to inspiring acts of support and solidarity. Fortunately, perhaps because this is Scout camp, I more commonly encounter the latter. Today’s children face so many more issues than my generation ever did at younger ages. Encouragement and building up by each other and trusted, dedicated adults is a beautiful thing to see in action.
Prayer - God of all encouragement, allow all youth who attend camp this summer come away feeling encouraged, built up and empowered to be their best self…
