Matthew 28:19-20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Sometimes my friend will say, "I think that was the Holy Spirit leading you to do that," (or say that). Most times, the Holy Spirit had never crossed my mind. That is on me. If I don't sense God's presence in my moment or my day, that is because I am not looking. I do believe that God is involved in all aspects of our lives. If I do not know or notice, maybe I need to try harder.
Holy Lord, May I be seeking you always, in all that I experience and in all that I say and do. "Just a closer walk with thee...". Amen

Matthew 28:19-20
I always thought I fell short of the goal of this commandment. I was taught this is what evangelicals do—go to the people, preach, teach, and baptize. Our job in life was to bring people to Christ. This is not something I was very comfortable with. BUT, then yesterday’s verse about being an Ambassador for Christ, I realized I could accomplish similar goals by my example. It is amazing how a single word has made me feel as if I have been following this commandment without realizing it.
Prayer: Gracious God I have many thanks for the Bible scholars who have used just the right word that brings understanding. Amen

Matthew 28:19-20
My favorite aspect of the Great Commission is that Jesus promises to be with us “always, to the very end of the age.” As a parent or workplace supervisor, Scoutmaster or athletic coach, one can sense the boost in confidence in someone when they know “you’ve got their back.” God’s presence is with us in all we do for the entire time God has us at work in this life. This serves as a huge motivator and an encouragement when times are difficult. As Paul wrote, “If God is for us, who can be against us.” (Romans 8:31)
Prayer - Jesus, let me sense Your presence as I carry out the mission You have set for me. I…

Matthew 28:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Loneliness is a personal ache, craving for affection. Feelings of emptiness or uselessness. A more serious side effect would be depression. Jesus assures us that he is with us always regardless of circumstances and on every occasion even to the end of the age. His promise is to be with us through every trial and challenge When I feel lonely I will speak with the…
