A Daily Devotion for Wednesday, April 12

Proverbs 16:9

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

Holy Lord, when my plans are changed unexpectedly, I hope to be able to take a step back and listen for your guidance. You have promised to hear my prayers. Amen

I need to find a way to get better at this in other situations where my plans are flipped. Remembering God establishes my steps for God’s purpose to prevail in me is a scriptural…
