Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Filled with joy and peace and hope- this is a reason to rejoice! God has offered each of us this life. Clearly we do not always have those positive feelings. But we can still rejoice in this reality. God is with me, always. God offers me peace and hope, always. God is holding me when I am hurting. Sometimes I feel like I lose the connection, but it is never gone. God is just waiting for me. In this season of hope and joy, I will remember to rejoice!
Father God, in this season of hope, may your spirit touch many hearts, and may we all rejoice in our hope and anticipation of eternity with you! Amen

When I read this verse I ask myself does this describe me .Can I honestly say that my life is filled with all joy hope and peace. Would my family or good friends describe me as being filled with all joy and peace in believing and abounding in hope. I need to pray for direction and guidance but I do not feel that I am able to because his voice is not a familiar voice to me and as a result, I think that God is not hearing me…

Hope, joy, peace and trust. All the wonderful results of believing in Jesus Christ and His redemption of our souls. Through the Holy Spirits we obtain the power to live our Christian life. The Holy Spirit empowers us to strengthen our faith and brings us the peace and joy that gives us hope.
Dearest Lord, you sent your Son on that night so very long ago. His birth gave us hope for eternal life and a wonderful reason to rejoice. Thank you for this wonderful gift…

Hope, joy and peace - all fruit of the Spirit and the themes of the weeks of Advent. Paul’s frequent emphasis of these gifts is great encouragement, especially in these difficult times. The “cherry on top,” of course, is what Paul called “the greatest of these” - love.
Prayer - Gracious God, my prayer to Tou this day is for a blessed Christmas filled with hope, joy, peace and love for my fellow Transformers and our church families. Amen
