Jeremiah 32:27

"I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?"

Of course nothing is impossible with God. And yet, we as stubborn humans often resist believing in the miraculous. I saw a post on social media recently reminding people to be attentive to moments of wonder, awe, or joy. They named these moments "glimmers" and pointed out that the more you notice these moments, the more you will experience them. The author of the post failed to mention God. The Holy Spirit is stirring us at these moments. I believe these moments with God help us to be receptive to the miraculous. After all, with God all things are possible.

Holy Lord, May I live in the glimmers of your miraculous creation. I am so thankful. Amen

Jeremiah 32:27

This is the lifeline true believers hold on to. This awesome concept is mentioned many times in our Bibles. In all situations and concerns, we know hope is possible. We also know, however, that God does things his own way and in his own time. If things do,not resolve themselves as we hoped, we need to remember, God often has a different plan for us.

Prayer: Gracious God, I call on you often for help and guidance. I know I can trust the outcome, even if it is not what I wanted. Amen

Jeremiah 32:27

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?

It is impossible for God to lie or to change his mind or repent of something he has done or promised. Indeed, if God could lie or change his mind, then what would his promises be worth. Our hope would be uncertain rather than certain. It is impossible for God to sin — or to have sin in his presence. In the Bible, there are over thirty thousand promises, and God will keep His Word. If God made the promise, He cannot lie. There is no promise too hard for God to keep. There is no prayer to…

Jeremiah 32:27 Through the prophet, Jeremiah, God makes a clear declaration of omnipotence. A god of anything less than omnipotence would not be worthy of the praise and worship we give to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Joseph. This is the God who “has the whole world in His hands,” and is thus a miracle worker according to His will.

Prayer - God of all creation, we humbly submit to Your kingdom, Your power and Your glory. May it reign forever and ever. Amen.
