John 6:11
Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
This morning I am thinking about the families in Texas who lost their beautiful children. How can a human being, even with strong faith in God, withstand that sort of pain? We have to remember that Jesus has enough love for all of us. We need not fear that his love will run out or lose its ability to bring us peace. Yet we do doubt that love from time to time, taking on the mindset that we will never be happy again, or never be able to stand the pain of what we are going through. Jesus is always enough, and there will always be enough for everyone.
Holy Lord, I am so thankful for the gift of your son, Jesus. He showed us and taught us so much- I do not need to fear that his love will become scarce or will leave me out. I am truly thankful. Amen

John 6:11.
Writing Thank You notes seems to be a lost art. A FaceBook post to all your friends seems to be the replacement. A Thank You to God is really so easy--just tell him! I used to use the term "lucky." I've learned that when I thank God for all I have, there is no Luck to it. I am Blessed! I've replaced lucky with blessed.
Prayer: Gracious God, You have blessed me so much and for that I am grateful. AMEN
John 6:11
I love this story of one of the many miracles of Jesus, especially because it involves the contribution and faith of a young child. We have so much to offer a child, they trust us, they believe us and know we will care for them. Our responsibility is great. What a great time to plant the seeds of God’s word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This lays the groundwork for them to open their hearts and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. Oh to have the faith of a child!
Dear Lord, thank you for the blessings you have provided and help me to always remember you will always provide just what we need. Please provide…

A NOTE OF THANKS
(FOCUS: TO FOCUS ON EXPRESSING GRATITUE
John 6:11
Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.
When Christ fed the masses that day he began with only five small loaves of bread and two fish borrowed from a little boy’s lunch. The upper room surely showed how grateful this little boy was as he offered what little he had to feed so many. Did these thousands of people express gratitude for the food That Jesus gave to them. Did they know from whence it came. In today's world, showing gratitude can involve…
John 6:11 Having a mindset of scarcity versus one of abundance goes a long way in how we live our lives. The former breeds suspicion, selfishness and isolation. Jesus came so that we may have life and have it abundantly. That abundance is meant to be shared and not hoarded for oneself. Becky brought up what is on so many minds today. I pray that an abundance of faith provided to the friends, loved ones and fellow members of the churches attended by those who suffered such a terrible loss can provide the love, support and whatever is needed to get them through this indescribable loss.
Prayer - Lord, amidst so many blessings there are tragedies and losses we cannot…
