Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
The challenge to live selflessly is not to be taken lightly. It is not easy for me, at least. Because Jesus is the perfect example of living selflessly, we have our model and our mentor. But it is so easy for me to get caught up in the day-to-day world, and to find myself with thoughts turned inward, on trivial selfish issues. It is never too late to do better, as long as I live on this earth, with the Holy Spirit as my guide.
Holy Lord, today help me to keep my attention and my energy focused on others, and not myself. Help me to be selfless. Amen

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
You and I are willing to pay a high price for something we value. Jesus would want us to be just as committed to him. To love and keep him just as valuable, as he loves and values us. As believers we follow Jesus’s life and obey his commandments . Just as Paul did after his conversion. Paul said no to himself and his earthly desires every single day.…
Galatians 2:20
Paul was a remarkable man. He was truly transformed by Christ. His selflessness was almost unbelievable. His whole life was dedicated to spreading the words of Christ. He never wavered, despite beatings, imprisonment, long arduous travel, illness, and poverty. We cannot compare ourselves to Paul, but we can still learn from him. He is asking us to trust the son of God. I think we can do that, and every act we do in Christ’s name is part of our own transformation.
Prayer: gracious God, I do trust you and hope that I show my love of you and all I do. Amen
Galatians 2:20 I was drawn toward this as my life verse over thirty years ago and it remains so today. Paul captures the essence of living life as a follower of Jesus. Faith opens my eyes to the immensity of Jesus’ loving sacrifice. It is out of gratitude that I strive to be more like Him.
Prayer - Precious Jesus, as we begin to walk the way of Your suffering this Holy Week, may we internalize the lessons we learn and go forward to live in such a way that clearly shows we live by faith in the Son of God who loved us and died for us - lives that are characterized by the fruit of the Spirit. Amen
