Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
In this passage, trust is a verb. I like this more active, intentional use of the word. We can decide whether or not to trust someone or something. Where God is concerned, our choice to trust in Him brings us peace (because we know His promises will be kept!). This is why we can thank God at the beginning of the day as well as at the end! We know God will be with us and help us. Thank you Kay L. for laying the groundwork to help me better understand this concept. ❤️
Holy Lord, thank you for being with me today. I know you will help me through whatever comes along. I trust this to be true, as I trust in you. Amen

Isaiah 26:3 Rather than fixing my thoughts on God, I fixed my thoughts on reports, meetings, and missing pages. There was a little piece to be found. Now that it’s over, I see what I didn’t do – I didn’t pray and trust that he would see me through and help me solve small problems that I thought were big ones. Prayer: gracious God, even when I know I should trust things to you – I sometimes don’t. When will I learn to simply trust always? Amen
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
God gives the ones who trusts in Jesus as Savior their own perfect peace. The peace that challenges human understanding. If my heart is focused on Jesus, His perfect peace will flood my heart and mind.
Dearest Lord, I thank you for the wonderful gifts you give to me. The love, grace and peace found in knowing you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Isiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
The Upper Room had a quote today, from an author during the Holocaust, that shows how to attain perfect peace – “I believe in the sun even when it is not shining, I believe in love even when I cannot feel it, I believe in God even when he is silent. If our minds could only be steadfast with these beliefs then we might find perfect peace.
Dear Lord, thank you for being with us even when we do not know it. Your will be done. Amen.

Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we found ourselves with the fear of becoming ill or dying. We feared we would not have enough resources, and being in public places. We even feared running out of toilet paper and frantically ran from store to store to stockpile rolls. Fear is a powerful tool that Satan uses to distract us and destroy our lives. He tempts us to question whether God loves us . Understanding the truth that fear does not come from God helped me find the courage to trust him And that He is the true source o…
Isaiah 26:3
Who would not want “perfect peace”? The psalmist says this is within our grasp with a steadfast mind. Steadfast trust will withstand the niggling doubts Satan would put in my path. “You deserve this.” “God has forgotten you. Don’t wait. Go ahead and make this happen on your own.” And of course, Satan’s favorite, “You can be like God.” A steadfast mind is the foundation for the trust that provides the perfect peace that directs me to tell Satan to get stuffed.
Prayer - Lord, this morning I pray the words of Paul in his letter to the Corinthian church. May I always be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord because I know that…
