September 29, 2021 A daily prayer from the New England Conference The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions. Today's Prayer Based on Mark 10:13-16 Holy and loving God, We give you thanks for welcoming everyone into your family, and all the children of the world are blessed with the gift of your love. Open our eyes to see our brothers and sisters in Christ no matter where they live or their ethnicity. Open our hearts to welcome the child in all of us. Open our minds to learn, grow, and be all you envision us to be and to become. We thank you for Jesus, who took the children in his arms, laid his hand upon them, and blessed them. Remind us that we, too, are your precious children who are held and blessed by you and empower us to do the same with others. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. Rev. Dr. Debra J.
