A daily prayer from the New England Conference

The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.

You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.

Today’s Prayer

When Jesus Christ questioned me, “Who do you say that I am?” I would confess “You are my friend, healer, good shepherd and only one savior.” When Jesus Christ asked me, “If you want to become my followers, let you deny yourself and take up your cross and follow me.” I hope I could answer “I’m not ashamed of the foolish gospel as your faithful disciple and I would be willing to follow you.” When Jesus invited me saying “I want you to choose walking on way of the Cross for God and the gospel as I chose to become a lamb of the ransom at the cross.” Let us reveal God’s glory by walking with Jesus Christ through the way of cross in every day. Amen.
