Daily Prayer

July 14, 2022

A daily prayer from the New England Conference

Members of the New England Conference Extended Cabinet are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.

You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.

Today's Prayer

O LORD, who may abide in your tent? Who may dwell on your holy hill? Psalm 15:1   Unlike the palmist, Lord We no longer need to ask the same question. In Jesus Christ you have pitched your tent among us and moved into our hearts and our neighborhood making them holy as your sanctuary. It is you, O God, who so desired and still desires to dwell in us and all neighborhoods.    Help us not forget that you made your home in each heart. At every dawn, awaken all your people inward to see your beloved presence in each other. At every sunset, guide all your children back home in and with you. Amen.   By Rev. We Hyun Chang, Commonwealth East District Superintendent
