Today's Prayer
Jesus, life is hard sometimes. We have joys, of course, but we face difficulties as well and lately, honestly, it seems as if the challenges outweigh the joys. We know that our Christianity is no "get out of jail free card." We are not immune from the virus or from the hard times that every human faces. So, Lord, use these hard times to refine us. Use these present circumstances to shape our character; to make us more like you. Then Lord, we might be an offering, to you, that pleases. Let this be our Advent prayer. Amen
