Romans 3:21-24
But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
We all fail to live up to 'the glory of God.' We are not able to exist without sinning. These verses reassure us that all of God's creation struggle in this way. We are not alone in our constant battle to live up to God's image. But God above all understands this and has 'torn the curtain' which sin placed between us. We need not suffer with guilt over past deeds if we repent, because God does not want us separated from Him. He invites us to Him.
Holy One, thank you for your many blessings and above all for your grace. You have shown me the way to you and have forgiven my sins. This is the most excellent motivation. Amen

Romans 3:21-24
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:21–34
Yes, we are all sinners of one sort or another. Our trust in God assures us that, when asked, all sins can be forgiven because of our belief that Jesus died to take away our sin. Some sins are “bigger” than others. Even our “small” sins make us sinners in need of forgiveness.
Prayer: Gracious God, as one of your imperfect children, I am thankful for your love and forgiveness. Amen
Romans 3:21-24 As we embark on a week of considering the concepts of guilt and shame, these verses have challenged me. I have never thought of this before, but I wonder if a major part of the state in which we find our culture is a product of the eager willingness to eliminate guilt and shame on the world’s terms. By grace, through faith our repentance not only cleans our slate, but leads us to “go and sin no more,” at least we aspire to that goal to honor God. The world’s elimination of guilt and shame has simply become license to do whatever one wishes and call it good. This cannot end well. I can only pray that there will…
