Ecclesiastes4:9-10
If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
I have been reading these verses over and over, and the same thought keeps pushing at me: what if someone has no friends? This may be through no fault of their own. Good people, in certain circumstances find themselves friendless. But Jesus is our one true friend who never, ever, leaves us. He can help us to get up and stand and walk forward again.
