Titus 3:4-7
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Renewal is ours through our relationship with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God in three persons, all available to us and with us always. How would I describe my need for renewal--where am I most in need? How can I access God to renew my relationship with Him each and every day? I suppose there are some believers who don’t need to do this, but I am a believer who needs continued contact and renewal. Prayer, time with scripture, and service to others are probably the most effective ways for me to feel renewed in Christ.
Holy Lord, I pray that you will continue to lead and guide me, to help me to stay on the path which is your good and perfect will. Renew me daily, Lord. Amen

Titus 3:4-7
As our faith and relationship with God shifts and changes, renewal becomes so very important. I know for myself, that many of life‘s distractions pull my attention away from my relationship at times. In this particular passage, it makes me think of the notion some folks have that if we do enough good things in our lives, we will enter into heaven with our filled punchcard. It’s quite simple. there’s only one thing we have to do to gain eternal life, and that is to accept Christ as our savior. It’s a short list.
Heavenly Father, please help me to stay focused on my relationship with you and help me to seek renewal when I am distracted. Amen
This is a reminder for us as Christians, that God’s love, grace and mercy are giving to us unconditionally. It not because of our actions what we do its the Holy Spirit that has made a a new and hopes of eternal love.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for your unconditional love and mercy may I always have the hope and spirit you gave us for enteral life. Amen
Titus 3:4-7
Paul is teaching Titus this important lesson. We need the reminder that our spiritual renewal has nothing to do with our good works. Mercy is ours through Jesus' sacrifice for us. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, the trinity, are always by our side. I find myself in constant communication with my Holy Spirit, My Holy Spirit is a companion always ready to help, advise, and forgive me.
Prayer: Gracious God, Help me to teach other about your love. AMEN
Titus 3:4-7
God is the perfect parent in that God’s saving love is eternally unconditional. We are saved not because of righteous things we do, but because of God’s mercy. There is no better definition of grace. The Good News started with Jesus and was passed through the apostolic faith through two millennia and is now facing its biggest threat since its beginnings. Let us all find the courage to stand for and with Christ in this new year out of gratitude for the unfailing love shown to us.
Prayer - Thank You, Lord for Your grace, mercy and love. Let all be reflected to others through all my actions and words in the coming year and always. Amen
