Jeremiah 33:3
”Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
This brief verse in Jeremiah reminds us that God also listens to us. There is meant to be communication between us. It is not one way. God is listening to us and hears us calling to him. This is a comforting thought, because it is not always so clear when God is speaking to me. If I know he is listening, I know he hears my concerns and my worries.
Holy One, thank you for hearing me when I call to you. I know there have been countless times you have heard and answered me- not with words, but with grace and peace. I am grateful. Amen

Jeremiah 33:3
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
Scripture teaches us, we can have a true and personal knowledge of God, but this does not mean we will ever understand him completely, nor does he want us to. The Bible is clear about his greatness, power, thoughts, ways, wisdom, and judgment and we know these things are way beyond our human ability to fathom fully. Not only can we never know everything there is to know about God, we can never know everything there is to know about his character and how he works. Before we can trust anyone in ou…
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
God is telling us to listen to his words. If we listen as we read the Bible, we will find new truths as we learn more about God’s teachings and the life, he had planned for us. We just need to listen.
Dearest Lord, sometimes I find it difficult to hear you but I do know that you hear me and if I listen, I will hear you. You do not promise instant gratification but you do promise love and peace and hope. You are a wonderful caring God. Thank you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Jeremiah 33:3 Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. Just ask Jeremiah says of God. Just ask. This means God is listening. It doesn’t matter we are we are: at home, in prison, in church, or at the highest or lowest point in your life. To be told just ask means God is always listening. Always! Just talk with him and unburden yourself to find some peace. Prayer: gracious God, I know you are always listening to my needs. I rely on you. Amen
Jeremiah 33:3
There are a great many things I do not know and find unsearchable. They will forever remain that way if I refuse to ask God and attempt to form my own answers and solutions. These issues may still remain beyond my human understanding even after seeking God, but asking and carefully listening bring me closer to a fuller comprehension of God’s will. There are issues I still struggle with, but in this season of life I find myself more willing to ask and listen than assume I already have all the answers.
