Titus 1:15
To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and their consciences are corrupted.
People see things through their own lenses. If I allow myself to have a negative mindset, I am much more apt to see the negatives around me. Would I rather be surrounded and uplifted by recognizing the good, or would I rather marinate in the negative? I recently made a commitment to myself to be better informed about world events. This has come with a price. I have to hold on to my positive outlook to be a light for others. I believe God wants us to hold onto the good, always.
Holy Lord, help me to hold on to my faith in a world filled with opposition and challenges. May I be a positive light for others, and may I represent Christ here on earth. Amen

Titus 1:15
To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe nothing is pure in fact both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
Paul shows how the wicked made a choice to reject God, and that choice set them on a downward spiral of increasing darkness with no hope. I need to recognize each thought that comes into my mind and compare it to God’s Word and His promises for my life. Does this thought that I’m having reflect what God’s Word says about my situation or does it reflect a lie that I know doesn’t represent God’s heart for me. I can absolutely want the loved life…
Titus 1:15
There are those around us who are of a pure heart. They see the best in all situations. Some would call them naive, but we know their goodness. Then there are the negative people who only see the worst of any situation or person. Our minds are ours to control. Surround yourself with goodness and it’s hard to be negative. Surround yourself with negative people and everything goes wrong. We always told our girls to choose their friends wisely and that we would know how well they did by their own actions.
Prayer: Gracious God, May your Holy Spirit help me keep my mind on you and your teachings. Amen
Titus 1:15
This is a hard teaching, but entirely true. I am reminded of the saying, “Those who sleep with dogs are liable to get fleas.” Similarly, one of the prayer prompts that cycles through my daily PrayerMate app is, “Those who do not love the Lord cannot help me serve Him.” A mindset of disbelief tends to diminish all of life’s little blessings to meaninglessness. Anyone can revel in a big blessing, but only a believer recognizes it as such. However, much joy can be found in the tiny blessings; coffee, sitting with the dogs on the couch in the quiet of the morning, the metamorphosis of the landscape from winter to spring, the smell of handmade soap -…
