1Peter 1:8-9
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
These verses fill me up this morning. I am receiving the goal of my faith- the salvation of my soul! There is nothing to compare to this feeling- mystical, yet so real my life depends on it. Today is Christmas Eve, and we celebrate the very birth of our Savior. I will rejoice today, and will hold these verses in my heart.
Father God, we celebrate the birth of your son, and we rejoice! Fill us this day and always with that joy and love which defy understanding and description. Thank-you, God❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Amen

1 Peter 1:8–9 Peter starts this versus using Jesus’ own words to Thomas. “Blessed are those who believe without seeing.” This belief – this trust is the basis of our salvation. Our salvation should bring us joy. I say “should” because in today’s world, Joy is often elusive. How often do we experience inexpressible Joy? I think this is something I need to work on. Prayer gracious God: May I see joy in even the little things around me and may I express it to others. Amen

I need your grace, mercy, healing, wisdom, and power. you are everythi…
1 Peter 1:8-9 Though you have not seen him, you love him, and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy for you are receiving the end results of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
My spiritual understanding of Jesus is from reading the Bible and learning all I know about believing. My love for God is there because he first loved me by sending His Son who died to redeem us. He did all this for us so that we could have eternal life in heaven with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Though I have not seen him, I believe in Him and rejoice…
