Warm Winter Gear Needed for Homeless

Cold weather and winter are approaching! The Winter Shelter for the homeless does not open until December 15th. Friendly Kitchen meals are still being served as take out only. Throughout November, the Outreach Committee is collecting winter socks (wool is best), hats, gloves, hand, foot and body warmers. Job Lots has a Crazy Deal that started Nov 5th. Buy 2 packages of warmers (8-10 in a pkg) for $11.98 and receive a $10 Crazy Deal card to spend another day!! Your final cost is less than $2!! Items can be brought to Sunday service or delivered to the home of Sandy Fisher at 116 Amesbury Rd, cell 746-3729 by November 28th. We will deliver on Sunday the 29th when we are serving dinner at the Friendly Kitchen. The homeless will be extremely thankful for the warmth you provide!!
