Today's Prayer
How can we bear your gifts, Generous Spirit of God? There are so many. Faith Peace Grace Hope Love Truth Wisdom Majesty Glory Honor Joy How can we bear so much of the sacred while suffering and enduring the ills of this world? We become overwhelmed. We pray for a trickle of grace--a drop of hope. But you are a God of extravagant abundance. Remind us, Generous Spirit of God-- it is only in the most acute character-building moments of our lives when the strength of your gifts are fully realized, pouring into our hearts.
