Today's Prayer
One Body What would it look like if we functioned as one body? Each part valued, needed, wanted? Each one doing their own important work. What would it look like if we functioned as one body? Would we behave differently in this ongoing pandemic if we believed St. Paul's words today? Would the congregation be able to come together for more than a take-out supper or tag sale? What would it look like if we functioned as one body? Affirming the giftedness of others, refusing to give into jealousy. Affirming our own giftedness, and to share Christ's love with others. What would it look like if we functioned as one body? God, give me the courage to try today and always. Amen.
