Galatians 6:2
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
This is the way to fulfill the law- to carry each other’s burdens. So, Paul is saying this is how we love one another. We take on something for someone, help with something, lighten someone else’s load. This is love and compassion. This is so simple, and yet very helpful to me today.
Father God, I will try to find more ways to show compassion today, and in this way show your love. Amen

Galatians 6:2
carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
The acts of kindness and compassion should not be taken lightly. It's not easy to be kind to everyone, and there are many cases where it takes a good deal of effort. However, a kind heart does more to show God to others than any words that come out of our mouths. Actions truly do speak louder than words, and kind acts speaks volumes about how God is working in our lives. While we're changing others lives by being kind to them, we're shaping our spiritual life as well. Kindness is a great way to show compassion. Som…
Galatians 6:2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. In the same way as we learned about acceptance through Christ’s eyes, now we are told that having, sharing, or bearing each other’s burdens is the same. It is our duty as Christians to uplift others. We should try, in someway, to support those who are struggling with some problem, even those who struggle in silence. May we also remember that we should seek compassion from our brothers and sisters in Christ in our own times of need. Prayer: gracious God, may I share your love compassionately as you would have me do. Amen
Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burden, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.
I am responsible for the attitudes I adopt in this life, and the actions I take toward others. Compassion is necessary as I go through this life and find others that may need my help. Whether it be just an ear to listen or helping with a task that is too much for them. I feel that compassion and love go together. Having compassion for and loving all is something that is necessary in this Christian life I lead.
Dearest Lord, thank you for the many lessons I am learning as I participate in this weekly devotional. I have learned so much about…
Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burden, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.
“Love one another.” Compassion has a strong component of love in it. Compassion is more than doing something good for someone who needs help. It is also feeling the pain the person is experiencing. When you truly understand what the person is going through, then you may find the words that help, as well as the actions.
Dear Lord help me to be more compassionate. I tend to see the physical need of someone but no more than that. Amen.
Galatians 6:2 Compassion, burden-bearing in Paul’s example, is mutual. The law of Christ is fulfilled when compassion is shared in the family of God. The term “compassion fatigue” is used in some caring professions, reflecting the negative effects of all giving with no receiving. Healthy family, social and cultural relationships are found in a shared give and take, hopefully at just the right time when it is needed most.
Prayer - GracIous God, make me a willing burden-bearer for others and I thank You for putting in my path those who would help me bear my own burdens. Together we fulfill the law of Christ and advance Your Kingdom. Amen
