Matthew 25:40
"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"
Serving God's creation is serving God. Everything we do for another, we do for Him. This passage makes me stop today and take stock of what I am doing, and what I am not doing. I can do so much more- where do I start?
Holy Father, your Word leads and guides me, and today it convicts me. You know my heart. Help me grow, Lord. Amen

If we just remember these words! Then what we do, believe, and think will always be about doing it for Jesus.

Jesus took a humble position of coming to earth as a human being to make a way for us to get to heaven and to show us the way to live. He even died on the cross to seal the deal, once and for all. Jesus’ way is to think of others more often than ourselves, and he set the example for us. What we do for others, we should do the same for him. Matthew 25:40 Perhaps the overwhelming number of those who appear to be “the least of these” who seem to surround us at home, around the country and across the globe is God’s reminder that God is omnipresent, constantly among us. We honor God by by offering them any gift of hospitality as a measure of commitment to our faith.
Prayer - Ever present God, open the eyes of my heart, Lord. I want to see You in the faces of those in need so that I may serve You by serving them. Amen
