Ephesians 4:32-5:2
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Reading this, I am again reminded that we are to lead by example. We are to forgive, over and over, and demonstrate to one another loving servanthood. We are to “walk in the way of love.” If I truly wish for others to come to Christ, my life must reflect the “goodness” of such a life. It must be peaceful, confident and accepting of others, generous and forgiving as well. A tall order for me, but with God’s help, I will continue to try.
Holy Lord, help me to live the life you see for me. In this way, according to your will, hearts may be opened. Amen

Ephesians 4:32-5:2
I believe the scripture reading tells me to set an example for those I come in contact with. I am loved and I am forgiven. Although I have struggled with forgiveness in my life, I know forgiveness is a must and I must forgive in earnest and I should love with all my heart , even the ones that are difficult to love. This is the example Christ set for us and the example we should emulate.
Dear Lord, help me to set the example of love and forgiveness throughout my life. Amen. @

So the Lord is telling us to stop thinking about ourselves and think about the other person. Be tenderhearted toward them. Be compassionate, Be kind toward them because that is what God does. It is so easy to say, I do not have to be kind because I don’t like them, believing that person is terrible. I should be kind anyway. This is when my faith is put to the test.…
Ephesians 4:32-5:2
Very few people are “reasoned” or taught into the kingdom of God. I suppose it could happen, but even if their conversion is primarily at the intellectual level, without the love that Jesus taught, it is not complete. The vast majority of people must be loved into the kingdom. Kindness, compassion and forgiveness are the most powerful evangelistic tools. Only the most hardened of hearts can claim that Christianity stinks if Christians would only bear the fragrance of our Savior.
Prayer - Jesus, let me reflect Your love to others by demonstrating kindness, compassion and forgiveness wherever they are needed. May these actions, directed by the Holy Spirit, serve as catalysts for them to see Your heart and…
