1 Corinthians 13:11-12
When I was a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part, then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
These verses give new meaning to the expression “baby Christian”. The more I learn, the more I see there is yet to learn. The thought of having a full and deep understanding of God’s plan is really more than I can imagine. But I do feel myself growing. I have changed. I am changing. It is mostly inside, but does guide my actions. I want to grow every day, and when I meet God face to face, have Him know I have tried.
Heavenly Father, you are everything to me. You are my guide, my teacher and my friend. Teach me, help me to grow and grow in faith and understanding. May I be who and what you intended for me to be. Amen

1 corinthians 13:11–12 I have always loved the saying, “faith is a journey not a destination.” The same applies to our spiritual growth. We are always growing in our knowledge and faith. A group like Transformers is what we all need. Daily Bible reading, trying to understand and fit a reading into our own lives, and sharing it with others. We are all growing together. Prayer: gracious God thank you for this gift of the transformer group. We are growing our faith together. Amen

Spiritual growth, on the other hand, is a life-long process with peaks, valleys, successes and set-backs, all of which makes our reflection in the mirror of life cloudy and obscure. Paul assures us that even as we are fully known by God (that doesn‘t exactly make me jump for joy), in the heavenly realm we shall “know fully.” That will certainly answer a lot of nagging questions, the biggest of which is how God can love even me. I accept it. I am awed by it. But I just can’t seem to…

When I was a child I took in everything that was presented to me. I learned about God and accepted all that was told to me. As I grew, I went along with the understanding that God was always there. I never really understood all that the Bible taught. To learn so much about God’s teachings and all that Jesus did fo…
