Isaiah 43:4-7
verses 6b-7: “Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth- everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”
I used to wonder at times if God meant to choose the Jews and only the Jews. It was through reading and studying of scripture I came to learn otherwise. This is an example of something the Holy Spirit brought to my heart. Pastors no doubt told me many times about 1Timothy 2:4, but it wasn’t until this verse and other verses over the last few years cemented this truth for me. And our introduction to Paul’s letter to the Romans highlights this further. God called on Paul specifically to ensure the Gentiles would not be left out.
Father God, you want all of your creation to know you and to follow you and to love you. I want to help this to happen. How can I be a part of your dream? Lead me, Lord. Amen

Isaiah 43:4-7 Verse 5. “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.” We have read these words often. Mary was told do not be afraid. The Angels said do not be afraid to the shepherds. Over the past year, many people could not heed these words. Something new and scary and, yes, deadly was all around us. There were plenty of people telling us to be afraid, be careful, stay home, etc, etc, but not many people were reminding us that God was still here. While we still need to follow many guidelines, we need to remember that God is still with us and that should give us some reassurance. I know people today who are still fearful of almost eve…
Isaiah 43-4-7 Verse. 4 Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. We are valuable in God’s sight. Yet the most of our unhappiness is that we are not happy with ourselves. The way we look, our talents, our sinfulness. We may be comparing ourselves with others instead of focusing on God and being the person God wants us to be. We know we will make mistakes and one of my biggest false is that I am way to serious about the changes I need to make. It is good not to be so intense about every little mistake …
Isaiah 43: 4-7
4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.
God loves us. If we believe in Jesus and put our faith in his hands, then we are God’s chosen people. God the Father has sent his love to us because he wanted to. It is through this love that he sent his Son to us and we are saved.
Dearest Lord, your love for me is unmeasurable. You loved me from the beginning, even knowing that I am weak and sin. You gave Jesus to us all in order that we be saved. Thank you for doing…
