A daily prayer from the New England Conference
The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Jesus,
again and again you tell us you are the Bread of Heaven.
Again and again you teach us justice and love.
Again and again your words are spirit and life.
And each day, again and again, we can choose you.
Today may we choose to hear your words and Spirit.
At this moment, may we choose your ways of justice and love.
Now may we choose to eat the bread of life.
Help us O God to abide in you moment by moment.
Again and again and again.
In the power of your Spirit we pray. Amen.
