A daily prayer from the New England Conference

Members of the New England Conference Extended Cabinet are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.

You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.

God of grace

and God of glory,

we are grateful

for strength and faith,

for appointment to Christ's service.

Thank You!

We have fallen short in many ways,

in things we have done,

and left undone,

yet You pour out Your mercy.

Thank You!

Trusting You,

we lift up our cup,

and You overflow us with grace,

with Christ's faith and love.

Thank You!

We can indeed surely trust

and accept,that Christ Jesus came into the world to save,

to save those who miss the mark

and that's all of us.

Thank You!

You shine the love light

of Your mercy on us,

and bless us

to reflect Christ's life of love and patience,

so that others will come to trust and follow too.

Thank You!

King of kings,

and lord of lords,

to You be the honor and glory,

in the precious name of Jesus we pray.

Amen.
