Today's Prayer
Holy One, lover of my soul, you are as close as my own heartbeat, your indwelling as life-giving as my own breath. You are mindful of me in every moment, ever attentive, always listening. I need not be good enough or extraordinary enough, or hardworking enough, or anything enough, to earn the gift of your presence. It is pure grace. Remind me when I get too busy doing for you to simply be with you. Let my actions and my words fall away so that you, Divine Love, can envelop me. Call to me to choose the better part and I will rest at your feet, gently held in your holy gaze, convinced of your loving kindness and my belovedness. By Rev.
