A daily prayer from the New England Conference
Members of the New England Conference Extended Cabinet are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.
You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Today's Prayer
A reflection on “… the borders between different cultures, individuals, and peoples,” by Carlo Rovelli in his book, “There are Places in the World Where Rules are Less Important Than Kindness” “It is not true, as today we love to repeat, that different cultural worlds are mutually impermeable and untranslatable. The opposite is true: the boarders between theories, disciplines, eras, cultures, peoples, and individuals are remarkably porous, and our knowledge is fed by the exchanges across this highly permeable spectrum.” God of mercy and healing, you who hear all who are troubled, pour out your strength and courage upon us, so that we may serve those in need generously and faithfully in your name, that they may know peace, comfort, and courage. Amen. By Beth DiCocco, Conference Director of Communications Luke 10:25-37?
