A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis
During these difficult days, members of the Katahdin District of the New England Conference?are?sharing a daily prayer based on?the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.
You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Today’s prayer
Lord, here we are once again: a people caught up in struggle, well acquainted with pain, and immersed in uncertainty. We know, though, that this is not where our story ends. You are the same One who led your people out of Egypt, chose to dwell among them, and caused even the seas to flee and mountains to skip. Grant, O God, that we would delight in your work then and now. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear of your redemptive love in action this day as you lead us into your peace. We, then, will be among those who tremble at your presence as you transform all things in love. In your Holy Name, we pray. Amen.
