A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis

During these difficult days, members of the New England Conference staff are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.

You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.

Today’s prayer

Dear God, Let us fall on our knees before the cross as we face the rising Son. Let us fall on our knees saying how thankful we are for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, our Savior. Let us fall on our knees celebrating those that have given their lives to care for all of us during this pandemic. Let us fall on our knees mourning those who have succumbed to this terrible disease. Let us fall on our knees giving thanks for our faith in you and your presence with us always. We kneel before you praying for the Holy Spirit to guide and lead us in these days for strength and guidance. We kneel before you knowing you kneel with us. Thank you, God, Amen.
