A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis
During these difficult days, members of the New England Conference staff are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.
You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Today’s prayer
Blessed are you Lord God, forever. Look upon your people in mercy and bring us to your everlasting peace. Eternal Father, You who know the end from the beginning, You have chosen us from the foundation of the world to be your body, we praise your Holy name. You know us Lord, you know what is in our hearts, Your see into our very souls, And you, know every one of us by name. There is so much sorrow and anxiety all around, but as your people we are called to be your light to a hurting world, help up to walk in faith that we may be that light. Your children cry out to you Lord. Have mercy Bring comfort to those who are anxious, Healing to those who are sick, Justice to those who are oppressed, And your peace, oh Lord, to this world.
