A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis

During these difficult days, Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar, members of the Extended Cabinet and United Methodists across New England are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.

You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.

Today's Prayer

Inspired by Psalm 111

Lord, we come to you with praise and gratitude for this day. A fresh new start. We are humbled by your faithfulness, mercy, and grace. Full of honor and in awe of your works. Remind us Lord to stop, listen, and remember that WE are also your works. Your children, uniquely designed and equipped with gifts. Each like a puzzle piece, designed to fit just where we're needed, yet dependent on others. Send us into this day aware of our gifts, honoring the gifts of others and at all times trusting that we are important works of your hands designed to work in unity.

Prayer submitted by Phyllis Riviere, Granite District Administrative Assistant
