A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis
During these difficult days, the United Methodist Foundation of New England
is sharing a daily prayer based on
the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Today’s prayer
Romans 12:1-8 Loving Father take my life. I place my life before You as a living sacrifice. Thank you for Jesus and the gift of salvation by grace, through faith in His finished work. You alone are worthy of my love and praise. During these difficult times it is easy to become distracted and focus on the concerns of this world. Instead keep my focus on You. With the unique spiritual gifts that you have given me, help me to share my faith with others. Also help me to pour Your love out to others so that they may feel Your love through me and turn to You. Help me to love broadly and consider the needs of others before my own.
