A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis 

During these difficult days, members of the Katahdin District of the New England Conference?are?sharing a daily prayer based on?the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. 

You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions. 

Today’s prayer 

Faithful God, we lament our hard hearts, turned to stone as too often we wander from your way.

We embrace you as our Good Shepherd, yet still we stray from your green, nourishing pasture.

Return us to the sanctuary of your presence this day, fill us with your love and light.

And upon receiving these gifts provided through your grace, with thankful hearts may we be inspired to share these same gifts with others walking in darkness.

May the Spirit place gentle reminders in our hearts and minds that you are with us, walking alongside us, guiding us always.

                                                                                                           Amen.
