June 8, 2021 A daily prayer from the New England Conference The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions. Today's Prayer Mark 4:26-34, (2 Cor. 5.7) Seed how will it grow we do not know scattered by day on ground to lay by faith not sight wait day and night seed on the soil without our toil nurtured waiting roots hold taking then upward bound sprouts from the ground what will it be a mighty tree? you plant, O God, in mortal sod your tiny seeds in faith that weeds will not choke out the fragile sprout beloved to be community we dare to pray on this new day for grace to grow in love - to show on earth is come beloved kin-dom life abundant realm triumphant a mighty tree where all may be ~ Evie Doyon, Pastor, Northfield United Methodist Parish (VT), Green Mountain District Administrative Assistant
