A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis

During these difficult days, members of the clergy class of 2021 are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.

You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.

Today’s prayer

John 17:6-19 Gracious and Loving God, Sanctify our hearts by the Truth, Your word, for Your name and get us ready to work with You for unity, justice, peace, and love. May the world look at us, see the source of power, and be attracted to who You are, in the beauty of who You are. We want to be people that you have been sent. We want to be good news people. We want to be good deeds people. We want to be salt and light people. So God, continue to send us to Your people and use us for Your glory. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

Minchang Lee, candidate for commissioning/membership as a provisional elder
