Hebrews 6: 10-12
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
Reminders and lessons for me from these verses:
God: not unjust, will not forget, has promised an inheritance
His servant: work, love God, help His people, be diligent, do not get lazy, do imitate faith and patience
Holy One, I am thankful for these reminders today from your Word. Help me to see my duties and my opportunities and not grow complacent. Amen

Hebrews 6:10-12
For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
This is a very comforting scripture for me. So many times I question by own faith. Does he hear me, does he know my heart. Has he forgotten me. Even though I don’t see, I have to believe. Jesus Christ was human He know…
Hebrews 6: 10-12 In avoiding complacency, our model is our creator. God sees all we do and does not forget our good works even in the face of our inevitable sin. God knows when our good works represent thanksgiving for all that has been given to us. The meaning for me seems to be to avoid complacency in my interactions with others, being willing and eager to acknowledge when they have blessed me rather than assuming their purpose is to be of service to me.
Prayer - God of grace, let me be diligent in giving thanks to those who are a blessing to me. Help me to avoid the complacency of assuming I am wholly deserving of their blessing. Amen
