1 John 4:11-12
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
God desires for us to love him, and to love one another. We wouldn’t even know what love is if it weren’t for God. Love for each other, in His name, is the most special fellowship. May my love for God’s creation, all the people on the earth, be an example to others. I want more than anything to live out God’s love for me. Help me, Lord, to remember these words throughout my days. Amen

1John 4:11–12 In my Bible, the whole section, verses 7–23 are titled loving one another. This is the one thing, love, that could make such a difference in our world. We are asked or told over and over in the Bible to love one another as God has loved us. I gave up trying to count how many times it’s mentioned. Why do we find it so difficult? We should know that God loves the people we may hate, the people we don’t know, the people who are different from us, and he loves each of us with all our faults. Prayer: gracious God help me remember your abundant love and pass it on to all around me. Amen
1 John 4: 11-12 I can have fellowship with my non-christian friends who are likely to lead me away from God or I can have fellowship with other Christians who understand God and His magnificence. These friends encourage me in getting closer to the Lord. These are truly the best friends I’ll ever have because they’re looking out for my best interests. God has a plan for my life. My job is to follow God’s will and live according to that plan. That doesn’t mean I am a puppet( this might have been true before I chose to accept Jesus as my personal savior) My best plan is to seek Jesus’s will for my life and humble myself before Him. Je…
1 John 4: 11-12 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made completer in us.
Loving as God loves us. That is what fellowship and community is all about. It is remembering to be kind to everyone. Not only the people we like or love but all people because we are Christians. God’s love takes no notice of what a person is like or what they do or how they dress. That person is just like me and God loves us all. God is love and God’s love is in us and teaches…
1 John 4:11-12
John suggests that by striving to live in fellowship with one another, we shall see glimpses of God. Jesus told his followers that whatever they do “for the least of these,” they do for Him. The case for fellowship over selfish isolation is found throughout Scripture. It is not that we need more evidence. It appears we need more will and commitment to the message being conveyed.
Prayer - God of fellowship, keep me mindful of Your love for me by opening my eyes to see You in others for whom You also have great love. Let me freely open the door to this “most special fellowship.” Amen
