Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
These verses from Proverbs bring me to our belief in God as three in one. We have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, always present. Indecision over a moral issue or an ethical issue or even an everyday relationship issue, can be worked through with help from God. What is amazing to me is how often I can struggle and struggle and not remember this! God is so good, and never changes. Always there for us, always listening...
Holy Father, thank you for your love and your steadfast presence in my life. Help me to make good decisions. I will always need you guiding me, even when I forget to ask. I look to you to be the best I can be. Amen

Proverbs 3:5-6
Is our faith strong enough to trust God to show us the answer to our indecision? It should be. If we always turn to him and stop relying only on ourselves (to be in control) we would be in much better shape. It is not a sign of weakness to seek his help. It is a sign of faith and trust.
Prayer: Gracious God, May I always seek your help first not last. Amen

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.
This is one of many scriptures I have memorized and it has been so helpful to me. God wants me to trust him completely, not with just my heart but also my mind. I was mentally exhausted trying to solve my own problems long with the answers. I spent a lot of time being confused. Finally I learned this scripture and it is so absolutely clear about what God wants me to so. Many times I do not know what direction he is sending me, but…
This is very familiar as it’s used in one of Eastern Star lectures when someone joins. so it’s teaching us to not to go about life thinking on your own, knowing where to go and what to do what say but to seek God know God trust God he will help us through our journey of life,
Pray: Good and Gracious God, help me to remember to seek you first for help and indecisions so that my path in life is straight. I also pray for Lewiston Maine families victims our churches there be with us today and help us all to find your peace. Amen
Proverbs 3:5-6 My own understanding always has the potential to be clouded by my sin nature. Perhaps a moment of indecision in some circumstances is a good thing. Not acting impulsively allows trust in God to intervene, engaging the Holy Spirit in the decision making process and keeping me on the straight path. If I do not ask for help, it will not be forced on me, but neither will the consequences of a bad decision be avoided.
Prayer - Guiding God, the paths before me are many and varied. My own understanding is not enough to navigate this confusion. I place my trust in You. Amen
