Deuteronomy 33:1-3
verse 3: “Surely it is you who love the people; all the holy ones are in your hand. At your feet they all bow down, and from you receive instruction...”
Ours is a God who does not play favorites. He is able to comfort and bless those of us who are seemingly insignificant, as well as to direct and give instruction to the very learned and “holy ones.” Sometimes it is easy to see God speaking to those we feel have a stronger faith, or a truer belief. I may feel left out at times. But I know God is always listening for me, and is ready to give me His full attention.
God of all the people, you are full of love. I give you my thanks, and my very life. Lead me, guide me and show me my way. Amen

Deuteronomy 33: 1-3
3 “Surely it is you who love the people; all the holy ones are in your hand. At your feet they all bow down, and from you receive instructions”
Moses is sharing the knowledge of God’s love to his people. He wants them to know that the love of God is always there for them. Knowing that God is love and loves us always is the gift of grace that is so wonderful to have and sometimes difficult to accept. Moses wanted his people to know that no matter where they were, God was there for them.
Dearest Lord, you are always there showering your love upon us. It is through this knowledge that we work to…
Deuteronomy 33:1-3 Verse 1. This is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave to the people of Israel before his death. In verse 1 some versions call Moses a prophet and some a man of God. I have a feeling in my heart that Moses would prefer to be remembered as a man of God. This is the example he set for his people. He knows he is about to die and he needs to encourage the Israelites about the future they face and to remind them of the love the Lord has shown for them in the past and that this will continue if only they believe and obey. Prayer: Gracious God help me to use Moses’ words as …
Deuteronomy 33:1-3
Moses had lived an extremely eventful life and as he approached his death he did not recount all his achievements, but gave glory to God and reassured the Israelites that God would continue to be their protector and provider. Moses in essence, long before the advertising agency for Allstate, stressed to the people, “You’re in Good Hands.”
Prayer - Sovereign God, we give thanks for your continued protection and guidance even on the face of disobedience and stubbornness. We are grateful that in times of transition and turmoil, You have promised to never leave, nor forsake us. Amen
