Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
This is the peace and hope which prayer brings to me, when I seek God and need to feel His presence. I don’t always break it down in my mind to being the Holy Spirit, as opposed to Jesus Christ or God himself. But there is an important accessibility which is gained when we have been filled with the Holy Spirit. God is with me every moment, listening, guiding and comforting through the Holy Spirit. There is no ceremony or sacrifice required.
Father God, you wanted to make sure everyone knew they had ready access to you, and so first you sent Jesus, and then the Holy Spirit, to dwell in us and guide us every moment. I am so thankful, and I want to live with this gift, understanding and utilizing its power. Guide me, Holy Spirit. Amen

Romans 15:13 What a beautiful prayer Paul has given us. Hope, joy, and peace because of our belief in him and the Holy Spirit by our side. I am sending this verse in a card to a new friend in a nursing home. Hopefully, it will improve her spirit when she reads it. Prayer: gracious God, I will share these words often to those in need. Amen
Romans 15:13
We know someone who could use the power of the Holy Spirit to find hope for her situation. In attempting to help her we have suggested that faith in God could help her mental state and to better deal with her problems. Like most things, her problems are self-inflicted, but she can’t change and deal with them. We’ve decided that praying that the Holy Spirit visit her is the only thing left to do.
Dear Lord, Thank you for the Holy Spirit in our lives. Please show us the way to help others. Amen.
Romans 15:13
Hope, joy, peace . . . time and time again in the epistles Paul refers to the fruit of the spirit. All is within our grasp as long as we are in tune with, listening to and obeying the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Personally, I know that when am not and do not is when life seems little more than a series of irritants. This is the life that Thomas Hobbes called “nasty, brutish and short.” As we listen, opening another person’s mind to the Holy Spirit living in them emerges as the greatest gift we can give as this bestows love first and foremost, but all the Spirit’s fruit as well.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Joy is because of what we have been given. We have been given something that cannot be taken away. We have joy because of the grace of Jesus Christ that lives in us. We can hold onto joy, we can feel joyful, and we can rejoice no matter what our circumstances may be because no matter what is going on in our lives God is always near. Even if I’m having a bad day, I am learning to joyfully focus on God and who He…
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
God is love and never changes. He is the same God that created the earth and everyone in it. It is through His love that we receive the Holy Spirit. It is through the Holy Spirit that we are given the grace to live for Jesus. It is through the Holy Spirit that we have hope. Hope in a better tomorrow and hope for eternal life with God.
Dearest Lord, thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to my heart. He gives me grace and hope. He…
