Psalm 100:1-5
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
This psalm is so simple and beautiful, and moves me closer to God. I am thankful for good friends, for family, and for fellowship with other believers. I am thankful for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I am thankful for Jesus Christ, my savior. Amen

March 18th psalm 100:11-5
This scripture reminds me of Julie Andrews singing “the hills are alive with the sound of music” on the mountain top. The Bible tells us that we should keep a personal relationship with God at all times, thanking Him for all He does. If we are constantly looking for things to be thankful for, we will more than likely find them. it's important to thank Him for the blessings received. This might be as simple as remembering to thank God when you're feeling good or actively enjoying a blessing. For instance, you might say a short prayer of thanks because you caught a glimpse of a gorgeous sunset, or after you got a really nice compliment fro…
Psalm 100: 1-5
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
I read that one of the best ways to apply these verses is to get alone with God today and just offer up thanksgiving for who He is and all that He has done for me. There is nothing quite like thanksgiving to tell God how much He means to us. God does appreciate our thanksgiving. God is longing to hear from us today to praise Him for all that He has done for us.
Dearest Lord, you are so loving and forgiving. I thank you for putting up with me as I learn to…
“For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;”
This attribute of God warrants constant thanksgiving and makes the admonitions we have previously read about praying thanksgiving in every and all circumstances. If God is for us, who can be against us? I choose to trust in the goodness of God to provide me with what I truly need and the love of God even when my prayers receive an answer I did not want.
Prayer - Good and loving God, I pray thanksgiving for Your innumerable blessings and for Your tender mercies, made new every morning. Amen

Psalm 100:1–5 From the message: 4. Enter with the password: “thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him. Although I read more than one translation each morning, I don’t usually choose the one from “the message.” This morning, however, it is perfect. Enter with the password: “Thank You!” If every time I prayed, I began with thank you, I would be doing as the Psalmist suggested. Our theme this week is Thanksgiving. Our versus are placing it ahead of all else when we pray. Prayer: gracious God, thank you, thank you, thank you. Amen
