Galatians 6:9-10
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
As part of a Christian family, there are many opportunities right in front of us. We only need a bit of energy and imagination and maybe a small shove from the Holy Spirit to make them happen. Right in our church family, opportunities abound. But we don’t always act on them. There are some who remember to send cards, make calls and visit. Sometimes we all pitch in to make meals, or we bring a prayer shawl. I feel like I could do more. I often ask God to give me opportunities, but He is already giving me many more than I am acknowledging.
Holy Lord, I will work harder to see the opportunities in front of me. I know they will not all seem “big” or “important”, but it is the love we share that is big and important. Amen

Galatians 6:9-10
How can we grow weary when it feels so good to help others? My favorite is when the good is anonymous. God blesses us with the feeling of joy when we do good for others, maybe that’s how he expresses his gratitude. The opportunities are all around us, church, family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers. I hope I am always motivated to do good for others.
Dear Lord, thank you for the opportunities you give us to do good and share love. I pray I never become weary. Amen.
Galatians 6:9-10
It is only normal to want to know that our work is appreciated. People like to be thanked for their hard work. This verse tells us--no thanks coming?--just continue do the good things you are doing. Your Thank You's will come when the time is right.
Prayer: Gracious God, May I continue to serve you whether Thanks You's come or not AMEN

Galatians 6:9-10
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith
My thoughts, words , attitude and actions are created in my mind. They are seeds that I sow. If I sow good seeds I will reap the harvest. If I sow negative seeds the results will be negative, Etc. As believers we know we can change our lives, by sowing the right seeds. When ever I struggle with any issue, I realize I have made the one wrong choice…
Galatians 6:9-10
Paul exhorts us to never tire of doing good. As wonderful as that makes us feel, we also need to keep in mind the risk of burn-out. Stepping back to take a rest is where the rest of this passage sings. If we pause for a breather, we can count on other members of our family of faith to “pick up the slack.” This gives everyone the opportunity to do good to those who belong to the family of believers. Knowing someone has your back and being one who has someone else’s back is spiritually rewarding and pleasing to God.
Prayer - Thank You, Lord for providing me with a family of believers who I can help and…
