Welcome and News in the life of the church
Welcome to online worship at Contoocook United Methodist Church. Although we can't get together to worship at church, we never stop worshipping our Lord, God no matter where we are.
I hope and pray that we can keep worshipping our Almighty God with all our hearts, mind, and souls.
“Then God said,‘Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness.’ God saw everything that God had made, and, indeed, it was very good.”
Introit / UMH #328 Surely The Presence of the Lord
: Invite the Holy Spirit to come in the midst of our hearts.

Invitation to Worship
L: For the “many-ness” of God’s creative splendor,
P: let us give thanks.
L: Before Jesus’s humility, and the power of Christ’s commands,
P: let us stand in wonder.
L: For the mystery of relationships—God’s with us, and ours with one another,
P: let us seek God’s holy wisdom.
L: Come! Let us worship the Triune God
You are One, O God, and You are Three.
You are majesty and mystery.
Make us ever in Your image, we pray.
Make us one
Make us “we.”
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
Ministry of Music: "Amazing Grace"
Today's Scripture: Matthew 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Semon: What does the Ascension of Jesus mean to us?
Gracious God, Holy Trinity,
we offer these gifts and ourselves
as instruments of your ever-new creation. Amen.
