On a monthly basis since mid May, Outreach Committee has sponsored a team of bakers to provide treats for the seniors in town and/or from church. Often they have not been able to get out and socialize since the pandemic. To receive an unexpected home visit along with a surprise treat is a joy and a blessing . This month bakers Annie Killam, Bev Flynn, Sharon Camp and Sandy Fisher provided four varieties for them to choose two packages of the four. Past months the residents of Park Ave Apartments have been the recipients so this month seniors from church who have been confined to their homes (many living alone) enjoyed a short chat and a chance to ask questions regarding reopening as most of them do not have internet to receive church messages. Small acts of kindness-sharing God's love!
